INTRAVENOUS CBD THERAPY

Pico IV® Broad Spectrum is a sterile, purified, intravenous blend of CBD and other cannabinoids including CBG, CBC, CBDa, CBGa, CBG, and CBN. Pico IV provides nearly 100% absorption and availability to your cells.  It is made from hemp grown in the United States and is legal throughout the entire county. It is NOT psychoactive (it does not contain any THC and will not make you feel buzzed or high) and is non-addictive.  Pico IV therapy offers many potential benefits such as:

Pico IV is infused intravenously in our office. It is generally well-tolerated, and serious side effects are rare. These side effects are typically mild and short-lived.

NAD+ therapy

NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is an essential coenzyme in regulating metabolism, longevity, DNA repair, and the immune system. The natural decline in NAD+ levels as we age is associated with signs of aging, metabolic diseases, neurodegeneration, and cancer. NAD+ supplementation has been associated with decreased signs of physical aging, improved cognition, a reduction in systemic inflammation, enhanced exercise performance, and increased sleep quality.

NAD+ therapy is contraindicated in individuals with a known abnormal heart rhythm, COPD, chronic kidney or liver disease, allergy to sulfa or cobalt, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

NAD+ therapy is delivered via an intravenous infusion in our office. To avoid side effects, the supplement is infused slowly, taking 2-4 hours depending on the patient’s tolerance. Some people experience a temporary feeling of nausea, chest tightness, headache or flushing for a short period of time during the infusion. These symptoms subside quickly after the infusion is complete.

NAD+ for anti-aging (recommended dose 250-500mg): NAD+ supplementation has been identified as a key therapeutic tool that can positively impact many of the hallmarks of cellular aging. Not only does it play a key role in skin aging but also demonstrates great potential to improve multiple aspects of age-related decline across the whole body.

NAD+ for neurological decline (recommended dose 500mg): As we age, cognition and neurologic function decline due to cellular damage and declining energy metabolism. NAD+ supplementation has been shown to elevate cognitive function, decrease brain fog, improve reaction time, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. NAD+ therapy is also showing promising results in the treatment of neurological diseases including ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease.

The recommended dosing schedule for NAD+ is once weekly for 4 weeks, followed by a maintenance infusion the following month and then every 3-6 months thereafter.

  • Certain cancers

High-dose vitamin C therapy is infused intravenously in our office. To avoid side effects, the infusion is done slowly, usually taking 30-90 minutes depending on the patient’s tolerance. The primary side effect is nausea. This resolves quickly when the infusion has completed.
